Are pets allowed?
Yes, we are a pet friendly apartment complex in Del Ray, Alexandria, VA!
We do not have size or weight restrictions.
However, there are certain breed restrictions for dogs (no barkers & no biters).
We do not accept Rottweilers, Pit Bulls, Akitas, German Shepherds, Doberman Pinschers, Chow Chows, Staffordshire Terriers, Cane Corsos, Wolf Hybrids, Mastiffs, Alaskan Malamutes, Presa Canarios, Siberian Huskies or any variation or mixes of these breeds.
All dogs are subject to management approval.
We will only accept 2 pets per apartment.
There is a non-refundable $300 fee per dog & $150 fee per cat.
The pet rent is $60/month per dog & $30/month per cat.
How much is the security deposit?
The refundable security deposit is equal to one month's rent.
Are there any move-in fees?
No, there are no move-in fees.
There is a one-time $75 application fee per person to check your income, rental, & credit history.
What utilities are included?
One parking permit is included with your apartment rent
(which allows you to park in the residents-only parking lot on a first-come, first-serve basis).
Trash, recycling, & sewer service are included.
Gas & electricity are not included.
Hot & cold running water are only $29 per month (you don't pay to heat up the water).
How long is the lease term?
Our Del Ray, Alexandria apartment rentals are for 12 months.
Then, it rolls into a month-to-month lease (with 60 days notice required).
Is sound an issue?
Not really, because we require that 80% of the hardwood floors be covered by 1/2 inch thick, sound-dampening pads & carpets.
This helps soften sound transfer from floor to floor, & makes for happy neighbors!
Do you have maintenance personnel to help care for my apartment?
Our staff includes experienced maintenance men that have helped care for our Manor House residents with over 50 years combined experience in Del Ray, Alexandria, VA apartments for rent.
Just let us know your issue, & we're happy to take care of it for you right away.
Is there a laundry center on site?
Yes. For your convenience, each building has it's own laundry center with a sign-up sheet that allows you to reserve your own convenient time.
It's the next best thing to having your own washer & dryer!
